Return to what was never broken

Transform your relationship with stress, trauma and adversity by discovering what was never broken through The Embodied Return.

READY TO BEGIN YOUR RETURN?

You’ve spent years adapting and surviving. What if the path forward is actually a return to the wholeness that was always there?

The Embodied Return isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about remembering what never was.

Siamon Emery

From a childhood marked by profound adversity, growing up with opioid-addicted parents I emerged not as someone who was “fixed,” but as someone who discovered a fundamental truth: nothing was ever missing from me.

What I developed wasn’t survival. It was adaptation. My nervous system did exactly what evolution designed it to do keep me alive in an unpredictable environment.

But those same brilliant adaptations that saved me as a child began to sabotage me as an adult. The hyper-vigilance, the emotional guarding, the relentless drive all of it made perfect sense in my childhood, but became invisible obstacles in my relationships, career, and sense of self.

Through my own journey of healing discovering Yoga Nidra and somatic practices, I developed what I now call The Embodied Return: a method of guiding people back to embodied memories of safety, love, and wholeness, and using those experiences to retrain the nervous system for the life you’re actually living now.

Today, I work with clients worldwide, helping them understand that their behaviors aren’t flaws, they’re adaptations. And adaptations can be updated.

I hold a Diploma of Yogic Studies and am committed to a body-centered approach that honors both ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience.

How Can I Help?

Without reviewing the cause we are destined to continue to trim the branches of a tree and watch them grow back, sometimes as worse, or unrecognizable behaviours/experiences.

The cause is below the neck, it is in our physiology. We MUST learn as a culture to work with the body because our survival drive is stronger than our personal sense of willpower.

If we do not work with this underlying survival drive then we are destined to continue to watch patterns recycle over and over again.

The model that you will learn during these sessions is one that will take you into a new paradigm, a new way of viewing challenges, mental health, trauma, addiction, and related issues.

It will give you a new way of viewing your identity, your sense of self and your direct experience.

By viewing things in a new way it creates capacity in our nervous system to opens us up to a sense of curiosity where the possibilities are endless!

EXPANDING BEYOND THE LIMITS OF INTELLECT AND EMBRACING the Embodied return

THE EMBODIED RETURN METHOD

The Embodied Return uses a simple Yoga Nidra guided meditation to help you access embodied memories of safety and moments when everything felt okay. Rather than focusing on trauma, we resource what went right. Your nervous system remembers what safety and wholeness feel like in your body, creating capacity for lasting regulation and resilience.

The Process

  1. Connect to Your Body – Yoga Nidra, we create a safe state where you can connect with sensations without overwhelm
  2. Access Resourced Memories — Recall moments where you felt safe, loved, or at peace
  3. Embody the Experience — Explore how those states feel physically in your body
  4. Integrate New Patterns — Your nervous system learns to attune to these resourced states

The Embodied Return offers a completely different way of understanding your challenges, whether that's trauma, anxiety, addiction, relationship struggles, or a persistent sense that something is "wrong" with you.

FAQs

No. The Embodied Return focuses on resourcing, accessing positive, safe memories. The work happens in the body, often bypassing the need for cognitive processing of trauma.

Traditional therapy works primarily with thoughts and narratives. The Embodied Return works directly with the nervous system through the body. This work complements therapy beautifully, many clients do both.

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that induces deep relaxation while maintaining awareness. It’s highly effective for nervous system regulation. You don’t need any experience, I guide you through everything.

This varies. Some clients feel calmer, sleep better, and respond differently to triggers within the first few sessions. Deeper patterns may take longer. The pace honors your nervous system’s capacity.

This is common. Even brief moments a kind teacher, a sunny afternoon, a pet can serve as resources. If memories feel too difficult, we can work with present moment sensations of safety. Your nervous system responds to the felt sense.
